Understanding Live Functions
Live Functions are values that Fleet reports directly from a registered device, rather than values you set yourself. Because they come from the device, they only update when the device is online, if a device hasn't connected recently, its Live Functions may show outdated or unavailable information.
Live Software Version new
Fleet shows the Captivate software version installed on a registered TS20 or GS05, in the device's property panel. This value is reported directly by the device and updates automatically whenever it connects to the internet.
🧩 Troubleshooting an outdated Live Software Version
This can happen when the device hasn't connected to the internet recently, so Fleet hasn't received an updated report from it. To refresh it, connect the device to the internet:

TS20 — via its GMI01 module (cellular)

GS05 — via Wi-Fi
Once connected, the Live Software Version updates automatically, no manual action is needed in Fleet.
