How to access the GeoCloud Drive service
Users assigned to the GeoCloud Drive subscription in myWorld can access the service. There are three options for accessing GeoCloud Drive:
Using a web browser
Using the Windows file explorer
Using the field software
📘 Using a web browser
GeoCloud Drive can be accessed using most web browsers. Recommended web browsers are Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
Within your web browser, enter the following URL:
https://drive.geocloud.hexagon.comEnter your myWorld email address and password to log in.
You can now upload and download files via web access to GeoCloud Drive.
📘 Using the Windows File Explorer
Your GeoCloud Drive can also be accessed using Windows file explorer, which makes it directly accessible from any office software on your PC.
To allow accessing GeoCloud Drive via the Windows file explorer, the GeoCloud Drive Desktop Synchronisation App must be installed on your PC.
Download the installer from myWorld > myDownloads.
Double-click the downloaded file and follow the installation instructions.
In the final step, ensure to click the GeoCloud Drive check box and click Finish.
In your Windows tray, click on the GeoCloud Drive icon and then click the Log in button.
A new tab will open in a web browser and you will be asked to log in via myWorld.
Enter your myWorld email address and password to log in.
📘 Using the field software
Your GeoCloud Drive can be accessed from the field using Leica Captivate - from a CS20 Controller, CS Tablet, TS Total Station and MS MultiStation.
Within Leica Captivate go to Settings/Cloud services/GeoCloud Drive.
For all Windows tablets:
A web browser opens.
Enter your myWorld email address and password to log in.For the CS20 and all TS instruments:
A QR code is displayed.
Scan the QR code with a smartphone.
When prompted, enter your myWorld email address and password to log in.
You are now ready to share files using the GeoCloud Drive service.
